Who We Are
EDJEBA ESTATE SCHOOL (EES), Warri (formerly known as Shell Staff Kindergarten School) is a Nursery and Primary School situated in NPDC/ND WESTERN Housing Estate in Edjeba-Warri, Delta State. It was founded on 15th January, 1990 by the then Women’s Wing of Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC -Western).
The fundamental drive of Edjeba Estate School is to lay a solid, fertile and formidable foundation at the Pre-Primary and Primary School levels that will become a dependable for exploring innate potentials and competences for future career discovery, development and fulfilment for the learners.
In view of the above, we have chosen for our learners’ curriculum, the best practices in the Montessori, Jolly Phonics and our indigenous educational system. This broad-based curriculum harnesses the relevant parts of the British, American and the Nigerian educational systems for our purpose. This combination exposes our learners to a wide range of in-depth concepts and application of knowledge from the indigenous and global perspectives in order to produce reflective/imaginative, creative, focused, critical thinking and hardworking life learners.
